The PRS Custom 22 Soapbar LTD is made from mahogany and is available in charcoal burst, sapphire, fire red burst and McCarty sunburst. This is a limited edition run and PRS has said they are going to produce 100 of them.

The PRS Sunburst 22 is also made from mahogany and maple and is available only in the sunburst color. The PRS Sunburst 22 has a special nitro-cellulose finish which gives it a spectacular sparkle.

The PRS Standard Satin 22 is made from all mahogany which offers a slightly different sound range from the other PRS 22 models and it is available in charcoal, vintage cherry, vintage mahogany and vintage orange.

The PRS Custom 22/12 is an ultra cool 12 string electric guitar made from mahogany and maple. The PRS 22/12 offers a versatile pickup arrangement and is available in over 20 different colors, including my personal favorite whale blue. This guitar is definitely a 12 string, but plays like a 6 string so I like to think of it as a hybrid that lets you get the best of both worlds.

The PRS 22 line of guitars is insanely popular in the UK right now and there are many reasons why that is. First is the broad spectrum of available models, colors and configurations that exist with the PRS 22 line of guitars. For example there’s the famous PRS SE Custom 22, one of the most loved guitars on Ebay. And who could forget the gorgeous PRS Sunburst 22 or the PRS Satin 22 guitars; those two axes are delicious to look at and play.
These guitars are no longer being produced, which explains why they are in such high demand at the moment. In fact as I’m reading this I want nothing more than to play another PRS 22 as soon as possible! Yeah, they are that damn good.
